2011 Choir Trip

The Shasta High Choir will tour Costa Rica in June, 2011 through Music Celebrations International, an Arizona-based tour company with substantial experience in leading tours for large choirs and bands. 

The 11 day, 9 night tour will include visits to:

• TICOS, the National Theatre.

• The National Museum.
• Poas Volcano National Park.
• Sarapiqui River Rafting.
• Arenal Rainforest Reserve. This tour includes an ascent by Aerial Tram. On the way back you can choose to return on the tram or take the Sky Trek which is a secure system of trails and zip lines.
• Escotermales Fortuna Hot springs.
• Manuel Antonio National Park

Students will have the opportunity to perform in various venues in the San Jose, Arenal, and Fortuna areas. The trip will include an overnight flight from San Francisco to San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. Ground transportation will be provided by chartered motor coach with qualified and knowledgeable tour guides on all busses Daily meals will consist of full breakfast and dinners.
